How to Use the ONLINE CIF Registered Users are advised to print out the following help sheets:

To view a current list of ORGANIZATIONS or PROGRAMS in the Garrett County LMB ONLINE
Community Information File –

Go to home page at: http://www.marylandresources.info or http://www.communitystuff.info NOTE: Both of
these addresses take you to the same site.

Enter Organization name (i.e., Garrett
Community College, GC Health Department, Community Action Committee, etc.) in
the “Search for Information On” box.

Select county (or counties) by checking
the box(s) to the left of the County name.
·
Then, click on “Get Info”.
The entered
Organization along with a listing of programs that are under that
organization’s name will now appear on your screen.
NOTE: Each of the programs listed are “hot
linked”. For further
information, just click on the program title you are interested in and you
will obtain detailed data for that program.
PROGRAMS
If you know the name
of a program you are interested in, you can do a search by entering the
program’s title in the “Search for Information On” box. You will then obtain detailed data on
that specific program or a message no results found.
In addition, if you
do not know the name/title of a program, you can do a ‘keyword search’ by
entering one word or group of words, i.e., health, children’s health, in the
“Search for Information On” box.
Again, you will receive results of your search on your computer screen.
FOR A COUNTY’S
ENTIRE PROGRAM LISTING

Just select the county by checking the
box to the left of the county name and do not fill in the “Search for
Information On” box.
